Susan Bridges has consulted with executives, individuals and teams who must lead change and transition in their organizations, and to implement organizational strategy successfully, for over thirty years. She partners with leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs as they deal with major business and professional changes.
Prior to becoming a partner with William Bridges Associate in 1998, she held senior management positions with international consulting firms where she provided leadership and guidance through start-up, turnaround and growth periods. She is experienced in strategic planning, operations, public relations, project design, business development and management of professional services. Her clients have included a broad range of industries in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
Susan completed the 25th Anniversary release of William Bridges’ best-selling Managing Transitions: Making the Most of Change, to be published in 2017. She previously revised the 2009 edition. She has co-authored articles on Transition Management, including Leading Transition: A New Model for Change, published by The Drucker Foundation. She served as a Drucker Foundation Mentor. As a board member for the Institute of Management Consultants, she developed the first nation-wide mentoring and professional development program for management consultants.
Susan holds a BA in Speech and an MA in Communications, with a focus on Neurolinguistics and Psychology, from the University of Colorado. She is actively involved in community organizations, serving as an Adviser to the UCSF Neurohospitalist Program, and on the boards of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, March of Dimes, and Family Service Agency of Marin, CA.
